# Limit Buy

The Limit Buy feature allows you to configure Bitfoot to automatically buy a specific token when its price reaches a pre-defined parameter such as market cap, % price change and exact price. This is useful for managing entry points without having to constantly monitor the market.

## How to Set Up a New Limit Buy

### Click on the Limit Buy Button in the Main Menu

### Click the Add New Limit Buy Button

If you have set up any buy limits, you will be able to see them in this menu.

### Select the Wallet You Wish to Use for Limit Buy

If you have more than one wallet connected to Bitfoot, select the one you wish to use for your new limit buy.

### Select Which Token You Would Like to Set a Limit Buy For

If you have tokens in your wallet, you can select them from this menu. If you wish to set up a limit buy for a new token, click on the Type Token Address button and enter the token address.

### Enter the Amount in USD You Wish to Purchase Tokens For

## ⚙️ Configure your Limit Buy settings

### **Buy Dip/Breakout**

Automatically purchase tokens when they dip or breakout based on percentage, price, or market cap.

#### **Percentage**

Define the percentage below the current market price at which to trigger the buy order.

#### **Price**

Set the exact price point for the limit buy order.

#### **MC (Market Cap)**

Optionally link the limit buy to a market cap condition, enhancing strategy by combining price and market valuation metrics.

### Auto-Buy

Activate/Deactivate Auto-Buy after you have set your limit order.

### Edit Amount

You can edit the number of tokens for your limit order after you have specified it in the initial settings.

### Refresh Timer

Your Limit Order will be active for 48 hours. You can use Refresh Timer button to prolong it's duration.

### Approve

Approve transaction for execution.

### **Chart**

Opens a chart of the token on [coinbrain.com](https://coinbrain.com)

### Delete

Delete your limit buy order.

### Reset

Reset your  settings.&#x20;
