## History

#### 2020 - 2023 | Origins & Development

> * We started as traders, developing our own bots in-house to optimize our personal trading strategies.
> * At that time, no public trading bots existed—only developers like us were building their own and setting up nodes.
> * Our approach proved highly successful, generating over $30 million in trading volume.
> * In early 2023, we decided to make our technology accessible to everyone, leading to the inception of Bitfoot.

#### 2023 - 2024 | Building & Refining Bitfoot

> * We dedicated thousands of hours and reinvested $1.3 million of our own trading profits into development.
> * Our platform is fully custom-built, avoiding third-party tech to maintain full control over features across all chains. We dedicated thousands of hours and reinvested $1.3 million of our own trading profits into development.
> * Built during a bear market, Bitfoot was designed to thrive in any market condition.\
> Our platform is fully custom-built, avoiding third-party tech to maintain full control over features across all chains.
> * By the end of 2024, the [Bitfoot Trading Bot](https://t.me/BitFootBot) entered closed testing, available exclusively for $FOOT token holders and private testers. This phase allowed us to gather critical feedback before the official public launch.

## 2025 Public Launch & Expansion

#### Q1 – Official Launch of the [Bitfoot Trading Bot](https://t.me/BitFootBot)

> * The [Telegram bot](https://t.me/BitFootBot) officially went live.
> * The presale raised over $1.3 million.
> * We prioritized refining and enhancing the bot while focusing on community growth through Academy video content and overall ecosystem expansion.
> * Simultaneously, we started development on the web extension and web app.

#### Q2 – Launch of Solana Alpha Pings & Bitfoot Speed Extension

> * We introduced [Bitfoot Alpha Solana Pings](https://t.me/+7QLaMYI58D0xODI9), a tool providing real-time insights and signals for Solana-based trading.
> * Initially launched in closed testing, the group was exclusive to select users.
> * After a few days of testing, **we opened it to the public** and continued improving its features.
>
> #### **Web Extension in Launch**
>
> * Bitfoot Bot now **fully supports Sonic Chain**, enabling ultra-fast and seamless trading.
> * The [Bitfoot Speed Web Extension](/bitfoot-speed-extension/about-extension.md) is currently in closed testing, undergoing final optimizations before public release.
> * The Web App in development, with continuous refinements to ensure seamless performance and usability
> * We’re working on a new **Alpha Pings group for BSC**, bringing the same real-time signal quality as on Solana.

#### Q3 + Early Q4 – Bitfoot Web App Development & BSC Pings Launch

> * During Q3, we significantly accelerated development of the Bitfoot Web App and transitioned into internal testing.
> * A public waitlist for the Web App was launched, attracting over **30,000 sign-ups**, confirming strong demand for an all-in-one Bitfoot trading platform.
> * At the same time, we announced and began rolling out new bot features, including **Webhooks integration** and the launch of a new [BSC Alpha Pings channel](https://t.me/bitfootbscpings), expanding Bitfoot’s real-time signal coverage beyond Solana.
> * Development efforts during this phase were focused on performance, scalability, and preparing the platform for a broader public release.
> * To fully focus on development and delivery, the $FOOT presale was temporarily paused for one month. After this period, a community vote was conducted regarding the Token Generation Event (TGE). The community decided to wait with the TGE to align it with the upcoming Web Terminal release, ensuring a stronger and more powerful launch of the Bitfoot ecosystem.

#### Late Q4 – Bitfoot Web App Development & Community voting

> * By late Q4, the Bitfoot Web App remained in active development, progressing more slowly than initially expected.
> * While a beta launch was considered, additional testing was required to ensure **performance stability, security, and completion of key missing features**. Bitfoot does not release unfinished products, and maintaining a high production standard was a priority.
> * To align the roadmap with community expectations, a **community and token holder vote** was conducted with two clear options:
> * **Postpone the TGE** and prioritize completing and testing the Web App before launch
> * **Proceed with an earlier TGE** and shift focus toward token launch preparations

## 2026 (Now)

#### Early Q1 – $FOOT Launch & Web App Open Beta

> * At the start of Q1, the community voted for an immediate $FOOT launch, shifting focus from Web App development to launch preparation. Over the following weeks, we completed the majority of the launch groundwork.
> * Due to market conditions, we decided to finalize the Web App before the token launch and successfully released the Bitfoot Web App in Open Beta (March 16).
> * The platform already includes core features such as AI tools, prediction markets, copy trading, smart tracking, and seamless multi-chain trading, forming the foundation of the Bitfoot ecosystem.
> * The $FOOT TGE is now in its final preparation stage.

## **The Future of Bitfoot**

> The primary focus is to launch the $FOOT token and continue expanding the Bitfoot Web App as the core utility of the ecosystem.
>
> Key priorities include:
>
> * $FOOT Token Generation Event (TGE)
> * Continuous improvement of the Bitfoot Web App
> * More AI-powered features and automation tools
> * Future Telegram Trading Bot fully synced with the Web App
> * Expansion into perpetual trading
> * Multi-chain support across additional blockchains
> * iOS and Android mobile applications
>
> Bitfoot is being built as a single platform where traders can manage everything in one place — fast, simple, and powerful.
